29 Aug 2008 - ANTENNA COMPOUND RE-FENCING

The actual planning to undertake this work started in 2007 when the club purchased ten 10ft site-fencing panels. Further purchases of posts, concrete & fixings were obtained and delivered (atop Peter's overloaded car) during the week commencing Monday 25th August 2008. Club members at the Thursday night club got stuck in and cleared the site in preparation and this work made life much easier the next day.

Work started at 09.30Hrs on 29th August. By late afternoon a hard-working team of club members had concreted in new posts, attached the new fence with a lockable gateway and also fenced off across from the building to the hedge to provide a lockable gated entrance to the field.

Thanks go to all the club members who contributed to the work as we now have a presentable and more secure antenna compound.
