The 2007 AGM commenced at 20.00hrs with the announcement of apologies followed by the reading of the 2006 AGM minutes. These were then proposed as read and signed by the chairman (Derek Franklin). The chairman gave his report followed in turn by the secretary (Eric Allison) and treasurer (Dave Hackett).

Following the treasurers report the chairman stood down from office stating that he was unable to stand for re-election as chairman due to personal constraints, he did however confirm his willingness to stand for election to committee with a brief of 'scouts liason'.

The club president thanked the chairman and officers of the committee for their work and then asked for nominations for the chair. The vice chairman (Andy Jackson G1KLP) offered his willingness to serve and a vote took place which elected Andy to office as chairman. It was not seen as appropriate to return non attending committee members to office without their confirmed willingness to stand, and as a result of this Mike Lane, Len Fennelow and Peter Wells were not returned to office. The remaining committe members with the addition of Ray Dowsett (MBE) G3RSV who were present were elected to office following a ballot of members present. Tony G1IZH was elected to serve the committee as 'Vice Chairman'.

A general discussion took place regarding changing the date of the AGM to the month of February each year to enable a financial report that relates to the end of year date of 31st December.

This item requires a change to the KLARC constitution and was therefore referred to committee. Any other business discussed various other topics (for full details contact Eric), and the meeting closed at approx 21.00hrs.
