Paul MI3CXM visited to present a talk on the techniques of

'Kite Antennas'.

Unfortunately wind conditions (and surrounding power lines) made it impossible for Paul to fly a kite for us, however he gave a great talk to inform us how to attach an antenna to a kite. Paul also showed us a couple of the kites he uses and passed around photographs showing kite antennas in use. Members posed a lot of questions which Paul answered without a hiccup. He reckoned that his talk would only last for about twenty minutes or so but he actually entertained us for ninety minutes.
