'Enigma & Friends'
John Alexander - G7GCK kindly agreed to attend at King's Lynn Amateur Radio Club on 13th September to present a talk.
|
John's talk told the story of European and American cipher machines that were contemporaries of Enigma and allowed us to see a selection of machines from his extensive collection which includes machines from 1936 through to the 1970s. John's collection, alongside top-level British cypher systems released to David White, forms a core of machines on display in B Block, Bletchley Park." Click on this link for Bletchley Park Museum.
The event which started at 8.00pm went on until well after 10.00pm.
A great evening that was enjoyed by all present.
Our appreciation goes to John who travelled for two hours each way from his home in Leicestershire to be with us. |
